This policy explains how The Banknote Shop (thebanknoteshop.com and its Android and iOS app) handles your data.

What we collect

• Account: name, email or mobile number, password (hashed), and the city, country and shipping address you enter.
• Orders: name, phone, shipping address, the items and amounts. Payment is by bank transfer; we never collect card details.
• Want list, collection and auctions: what you add yourself and the bids you place.
• App: a push-notification token, platform, language and app version, only to send the notifications you asked for.
• Camera: used only when you tap the photo or QR-scan button. PMG holder photos are read and not stored.
• Cookies: login session, cart and language only. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.

Who we share it with

• WhatsApp: when you choose to send your order on WhatsApp, the order text is sent from your device.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers notifications to the app (device token and notification text).
• PMG: we send only the certificate number of a graded note to verify it.
• Hosting and shipping companies: only as needed to run the site and deliver your order.

We do not sell your data.

Keeping and deleting data

You can delete your account at any time from "My account" on the website or in the app. Your profile, want list, collection, notifications and app devices are deleted immediately. Order records are kept (no longer linked to your account) for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
